Tornadoes and Other Nightmares

Y'all please forgive me - things around here have been a nightmare lately, and I simply have not have time to post or visit.  LOTS going on, which I'll report later.  In the meantime, watch this incredible video of one day of tornadoes in the US midwest.

http://news.yahoo.com/video/us-15749625/fierce-tornadoes-caught-on-tape-in-midwest-25695965;_ylt=AjViU.Lv.A3uB7f8V8Ubqaiz174F;_ylu=X3oDMTE3cmg5azZjBHBvcwMyBHNlYwNtb3N0LXBvcHVsYXIEc2xrA2ZpZXJjZXRvcm5hZA--

And NO, we have not had a tornado at my house.  I've just been snowed under with my sister's near-death illness and subsequent care issues; family drug abusers (again!); increasing foot pain and inability to find a doctor willing to take my case; increasing job drama; aging parent situation; and a heartbreaking decision that has kept me in emotional pain for two months now.

But I hope to be back with y'all in the next week!

  3. Sorry about all the problems - be assured you are in my thoughts and prayers. Why do things like this happen to the nice people? I apologise too I have been away from BlogLand and my pals - my previous post to present one explains. I do hope all your problems are sorted out soon, particularly the health issues and the emotional one. Take care and hugs ~ Eddie

  7. If the emotional issue has anything to do with an aging parent maybe I can help you. I'm 60 and have had to deal with this issue 3 times in the last 10 years. If not, know that you are in my prayers and thoughts as you figure all these health and emotional issues out. (hug)

  9. Thanks to you all! One issue at a time is enough, but when they all hit in the course of a couple of months, it's a bit ovrewhelming. And, I hate to admit it, but the worst is perhaps yet to come.

There WILL be light at the end of the tunnel, though!

Rita, who are you? Clicking on your name gives no clues!

  13. Holy crap! You've certainly had more than your fair share of issues, and each alone can wear on you physically, mentally, and emotionally. I sure wish you could find a doctor who could help you with the foot issues without surgery! I especially hope, though, that the heart-breaking decision you've been trying to make the last two months doesn't have to do with getting rid of those two precious dogs...but somehow I think it is. (Are they still not being friends with Fred?)

    Thinking of you. (Linda...W2W)
